Herring (Finfish)

Another very popular fish amongst anglers of all ages, and for such a small such give a spirited fight on light tackle.

Herring can be found in shallow bays, inshore reefs and sheltered sandy beaches with plenty of cover nearby. Due to their close proximity to shore, the humble Herring is probably the most targeted species on the entire Western Australia coastline.
