February 2024 Fishing Competition

Fishing Competition February 2024.

7 Boats and 16 Anglers took part.

Congratulations to all our winners. The results are:

1st: Ryan Haast, 11 species, 55 points ($50 Anaconda voucher)

2nd: Karyn Dore, 9 species, 45 points ($30 Anaconda voucher)

3rd: Richard Forster, 7 species, 35 points ($20 Anaconda voucher)

The Board Prizes (each winning a $30 Anaconda voucher) were as follows:

Sand Whitting: Len Martin .235gm

Herring: Len Martin .275gm

Skippy: Ryan Haast .615gm

King George: Ryan Haast .795gm (also a voucher for Oceans 27)

Tailor: Stuart Barnes .270gm

Flathead: Ryan Haast .530gm

Tarwhine: Karyn Dore .395gm ("Target Fish" also winning dinner for two by Delish Catering Service)

The Angler's Draw ($100) was won by Ged Woodcock

And this month's excellent Raffle Prizes won by:

) won by Berenice Smith

2nd (Insulated fish bag) and 3rd (2 bottles wine

) won by Garry Waterman
